This is the final sequence of the eagle catcher’s trilogy that Vic began creating in 1996. The symbolic and mystical importance of eagle feathers to the American Indian has created many tales of bravery.

With ‘Eagle Catcher‘, ‘Braveheart‘ and now ‘Ancient Hunter,’ the myth tells us the story of a brave who would risk his life to acquire the honor and right of wearing a war bonnet from the eagle’s feathers he had taken.

A brave had to utilize strategy and a little bit of trickery to attempt such a feat and summon all the wisdom of past ‘Ancient Hunters.’
